A maintenance visit covers lubricating moving parts, tightening loose hardware, checking spring tension and door balance, testing and aligning opener safety sensors, and inspecting cables and rollers for early wear.
We recommend an annual visit for most residential doors, and twice a year for doors closer to the coast or in commercial use with higher cycle counts. It's also a good time to flag anything that's likely to need attention in the next year or two, so it's not a surprise.
